Mission

Help families and youth meet their basic human, resource and educational needs while at the same time address common survival barriers and fully engage community services and residents so that together we can achieve a responsible, accessible and forward-looking community.

Issue Areas

Emergency/Basic Human Needs:  Shelter, Air & Love

Family Needs/Issues:  Utilities, Transportation, After Work Care

Parenting/Psychological Needs:  Neglect/Abuse, Self Esteem, Eating Disorders

Community Issues:  Language Barriers, Gang Activity, Accessibility to Housing

Academic Needs:  Essential Life Skills (Positive Attitude, Desire & Work Habits)

Employment Needs:  Essential Life Skills (Vocational)

Goals

Provide Services, Education & Support in:

Family – Parenting Skills, Support & Resources

(Parenting Classes, Family & Money Management Counseling, and Money for Food, Utilities, Heathcare, Braces & Glasses)

 Youth – Character Building/Essential Life Skills, Mentoring, After-School Resources (Free psychological/learning evaluations, Free tutoring, Scholarships for Sports, Access to job training and placement)

Community – Teach/Show Responsibility to Community (Local/Global) and address common language, housing, transportation and other barriers (ESOL Classes, housing access, after school care/transportation)

(Engage community, schools, businesses and youth/students in learning about and addressing common community needs and giving)
