GO Philanthropic, based out of Rochester NY, is and innovative socially-conscious travel company that embraces the combination of Travel Philanthropy, Sustainable Travel, and Fair Trade coupling Vacations and In-depth Educational Tours with support for social and conservation projects worldwide. The result offers travelers meaningful and authentic exchanges with local communities, while providing a valuable source of support for projects worldwide. Our focus is on mainstreaming, marketing, and delivering travel programs that provide the traveler with enriching experiences while also protecting, preserving, and enhancing the “health” of foreign tourist destinations and their communities.

The foundation for our travel programs lies in a desire to contribute to the empowerment of communities through their individual social and conservation initiatives.

Travelers can plan in advance to purchase and deliver directly through our partner NGOs tangible items such as:
• Water wells
• Portable Mobile Libraries (boxes containing 250 bilingual books)
• School supplies, furniture, or computers

In addition, in certain locations travelers have the opportunity to meet in person
• Candidates for school scholarship
• Microloan/finance candidates
• Artisan workshops and fair trade projects

As a result, travelers have the opportunity to:

• Have direct personal exchanges with local communities in host countries encouraging travelers to come away with more in-depth understanding and respect for communities and cultures they are visiting.
